Kyushu, located in the southern part of Japan, is blessed with several natural hot springs, beautiful beaches and volcanoes.

Following this tour, you will be able to soak up in a few onsens, experience sand bath first hand, ride a scenic limited express train and explore the famous theme park there!

[DAY 1 & 2] Singapore — Fukuoka — Beppu
Meal on Board
  • Upon arrival at Fukuoka, transfer to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, the most famous Shinto Shrine, dedicated to the spirit of Sugawara Michizane.
  • Then stop by the Beer Factory, where you can enjoy high quality beer brewed from the waters of Kyushu.
  • Next, proceed to Yufuin, located on a flat river basin surrounded by mountains. One of the most prominent feature of Yufuin's skyline is the twin peaked Mount Yufu, which hovers over the town and serves as a backdrop for many scenic views.
  • Following which, head over to Umi Jigoku, one of the most beautiful "sea hell" which features a pond of boiling blue water. Finally, go to Beppu, one of the most famous hot spring resorts.

[DAY 3] Beppu — Mt Aso — Kumamoto
  • This morning, visit the Mount Aso, a symbol of Kumamoto prefecture, once known as the land of Fire. It is the largest active volcano in Japan that still shows signs of volcanic activity today.
  • Then, we will proceed to Aso Kusasenri, a wide panoramic grass plain.
  • Following which, move to Takamori Yusui Tunnel Park, a tunnel where a railway was previously in the midst of constructing and water resources were discovered.
  • Lastly, rest in the Kumamoto Kikunan onsen area, which contains hydrogen carbonate known for its beauty benefits.

[DAY 4] Kumamoto — Kagoshima — Ibusuki
  • Today, we will visit Senganen Garden, a Japanese styled landscape garden along the coast of northern Kagoshima. The garden's most striking features is the borrowed scenery of Sakurajima and Kagoshima Bay.
  • Next, view Sakurajima, one of Japan's most active volcanoes and the symbol of Kagoshima.
  • Then, head off to Kirishima Shrine, a Shinto Shrine dedicated to Ninigi no Mikoto, who plays a role in Japanese creation mythology.
  • Following which, hop on Ibusuki no Tamatebako, a special limited express train which goes on a scenic route from Kagoshima station to Ibusuki station.
  • Finally, experience the Ibusuki Sandbath, which provides an interesting way to enjoy the benefits of heat and minerals along with a long hot soak.

[DAY 5] Ibusuki — Kagoshima — Kumamoto — Nagasaki
  • After breakfast, take a Shinkansen from Kagoshima to Kumamoto, then enjoy a ferry ride from Kumamoto to Nagasaki.
  • Then, visit the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, a remembrance to the atomic bombing of Nagasaki by the United States of America on 9 August 1945.
  • Next, continue your visit with Peace Memorial Park & Monument, built to commemorate the atomic bomb blast of Nagasaki. The 9.7 meter high peace statue sits in the park, symbolizing the Nagasaki citizens' wish for peace.
  • Lastly, visit the Nagasaki Shopping Street, the most famous walking and shopping street in Nagasaki.
  • *Nagasaki Best Western Premier Hotel or similar
[DAY 6] Nagasaki — Huis Ten Bosch
  • Today, visit Huis Ten Bosch, a theme park in Sasebo, Nagasaki which recreates the Netherlands by displaying life-sized copies of old Dutch buildings. The name Huis Ten Bosch translates into English as "House in the Woods/Bush".
  • Next, stop by the Yanagawa River, the most famous water township in Kyushu. Hop on the Yanagawa River Cruise and listen to the history of Yanagawa city explained by the captain.
  • *Fukuoka Grand Hyatt or similar
[DAY 7] Fukuoka — Factory Outlet Mall
  • This morning, stop by the Factory Outlet Mall, where you can find branded shopping items available.
  • Then, visit Tenjin, one of the commerical areas in Fukuoka. This area is a shopper's paradise where you can find department stores, restaurants, yatai (street food stalls), entertainment spots etc.
  • Lastly, proceed to Nakasu, Kyushu's number one entertainment and nightlife district, which is also Fukuoka's red light district.

[DAY 8] Fukuoka — Singapore
  • Bid farewell to Japan as we head to the airport for your departure flight back to Singapore.
